The BrightRoom

The Brightroom was conceived in 2001, in Richmond Virginia. A local vet was setting up an animal hospital and his brother set up a pet-daycare center. They had an empty space in the same facility. I had recently purchased a digital camera after years of 35mm, and was having lots of fun. I put the three together.

I now find myself in West Orange and digging the quiet but respectable art scene here. I'm doing more than pet photography however. If you have a project you feel some artistic services might be appropriate for, contact me. I do, by the way, have a day job. I am also working toward not having a day job. Every project I get brings me closer to that goal.

Some pictures I've taken. Some have been extensively retouched, and some made up altogether. The newer style gallery is under 'More Pictures' it's easier to upload to, so I use that for my clients - and just for fun. Enjoy! No images are copywritten, so if you'd like to use one, just please credit me, and let me know how it's being used.

I have worked in desktop publishing design for over 25 years.
